I had the privilege of photographing a harvest inspired farm-to-table style event at Capitol Cider featuring all local Seattle female chefs. The talent was endless and all 6 dishes were works of art. Recently I got to take a trip to Isla Mujeres to photograph a few luxury real estate rentals. While I was on the island I got a great taste of Mexican culture and am now in love with the beautiful water and relaxed vibe. Just being there makes you feel completely rejuvenated.
A few favorite restaurants:
Lola Valentina– A very solid cuisine across the board. Great for dinner and wish I had gone for brunch because the menu sounded amazing.
GreenVerde– try the fish tacos and fresh cucumber “lemonade” (made out of limes).
Elements of the Island– Delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast. Best fruit I had on the island and the people who work there are incredibly nice and accommodating as well.
